The Students of The University of Calabar were treated to a Career Development Seminar christened CaTalk, at the Chinua Achebe Arts Theatre of the University of Calabar on the 26th of July, 2008.

AfriHUB Commissions the first Digital Library in Nigeria.
AfriHUB has commissioned its first Digital Library in Nigeria @ Unizik, Awka. The Digital Library which is the first of its kind, comprises of 500 PCs and lots of electronic materials. It is expected that if the edifice, which would be subsequently set up in other Nigerian Tertiary Institutions, is judiciously put into use, the Standard of ICT education and usage in Nigeria would greatly improve.
