The digital centers each have 100 computers all fully connected to the Internet via a 2.5 megabytes bandwidth, a cybercafe with 250 workstations, 8 well-equiped classrooms each with 25 workstations each, a functional business center and a video conferencing room.

UNIBEN & BellsTech ICT parks Commissioned
It was with Joy and commendation from all and sundry that the ICT parks at University of Benin, Benin, Edo State and at Bells University of Technology, Otta, Ogun State, by was commissioned by AfriHUB in partnership wih the Universities.
While the ICT park at UNIBEN was commissioned on thursday 15th of May, 2008, that of BellsTech was commissioned on friday the 16th of May, 2008.
Speaking on the commissioning at UNIBEN, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Emmanuel Nwaze noted that the university had invested heavily in ICT development and that the commisioning of the edifice would in no small way re-affirm the status of UNIBEN as a world class university.

Prof. Manny Aniebonam speaking @ the occassion noted that the centers would train over 10,000 students yearly, equiping them yearly on current ICT know-how, so they can compete favorably with their conterpacts anywhere in the world as well utilise the various tools in their academic pursuits.
