UMITT, DiTTO Kicks off in FUT Minna

No fewer than one thousand seven Hundred and Twenty (1,720) students and staff of Federal University of Technology Minna are currently undergoing
UMITT and DiTTO training at AfriHUB ICT park, Minna. Universal Mandatory IT
Training (UMITT) is a programme designed and developed by AfriHUB, approved by Federal Ministry of Education and National Universities Commission (NUC) to ensure that all students of Nigerian Tertiary institutions are digitally compliant and are certified before Graduation.
Digital Train the Trainers Opportunities (DiTTO) , is a program designed to help faculties with necessary tools that will help them in their curriculum and teaching practices.
Asking the participants how they feel about the program, they said “we are happy this program is coming at the right time. In a couple of months we will be graduating and joining the labor market, with this training we are ready to face
the challenges out there”, explained Abu Mohamed a graduating student.
“I also want to say thank you to AfriHUB for making me a digital student, now I am more proud of my school”, Abu concluded.
